东阳中国木雕城坐落于“中国木雕之都”——东阳市，由东阳市人民政府全额投资兴建。市场占地210亩，建筑面积41万平方米，拥有商铺4600余间。
Located in Dongyang, Zhejiang province, the “Chinese Woodcarving Capital”, Dongyang China Woodcarvings City is fully invested and established by Dongyang People’s Government. The market takes an area of 210 mu (a unit of area, 1 mu= 1/15 hectare) with a construction area of 410,000 square meters and hosts about 4600 shops. Its predecessor is Dongyang World Trade Town Specialized Market of Craftworks.
2009年8月，东阳世贸城工艺品专业市场转型升级为东阳中国木雕城。同时对经营布局作出调整，以木制工艺品为主要入驻对象，真正做精做专、做大做强中国木雕城！调整后，东阳中国木雕城一楼主要经营木制工艺相框，二楼主要经营木雕红木家具，三楼主要经营木雕、根雕、仿古门窗、竹编竹雕等木制工艺品，市场四楼（H区）为东阳市工艺精品馆、工艺美术大师创作室和工艺精品展示区。
In August, 2009, Dongyang World Trade Town Specialized Market of Craftworks was transformed and updated to Dongyang China Woodcarvings City. At the same time, the overall arrangement of operation has been adjusted, taking wood craftworks as main object of sales and trying to creating a bigger and stronger professional China Woodcarvings City. After the adjustment, in Dongyang China Woodcarvings City, the first floor mainly sells woodcarving photo frames, the second floor mainly sells carved rosewood furniture, the third floor mainly sells woodcarvings, root carvings, antique-style doors and windows, bamboo weaving and carving crafts, and the fourth floor (Area H) functions as Dongyang Exquisite Craftwork Hall, Studio of Craftsmen and Artists and Exhibition Area of Exquisite Craftworks.
东阳中国木雕城自开业以来，两年间发展成为国内最大的木制工艺品批发市场之一，集中了全国四大木雕上千家知名厂家，产品涵盖木雕、根雕、木雕（红木）家具、仿古门窗、竹编竹雕、木制工艺相框、其它木制工艺品等数万种优势产品。销售网络辐射到了全国各个省市自治区的二级批发市场以及日本、韩国、东南亚等国家和地区。2009年，东阳中国木雕城市场成交额达30.8亿元。

The sales network is radiated to the secondary wholesale markets in all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China as well as Japan, Korea, Southeast Asian countries and areas. In 2009, the market turnover of Dongyang China Woodcarvings City reached to 3.08 billion Yuan.
